Perhaps it's the mipmapping introduced with 2.10. Is it also that slow with default MiniGL?

Did you switch Video renderer in game preferences to 3dfx Glide?

Re: Papyrus Nascar 3 low fps?

That's odd. I have 30fps (as designed) with max details in 4K with both video backends on my GTX 960.

I'm not using any compatibility modes on NASCAR Racing 3.exe.

Try launching the game with NAS3DFX.BAT. Do you have it in your game folder along with NAS3DFX.EXE?

Re: nGlide and QEMU

Some update from my side. Sorry for the long pause. Issue 15) Yes, it's fixed now. Excellent job. :) Issue 16) I forgot it's one of the very few Glide titles that requires 1 TMU configuration and will fail with nGlide's default 2 TMUs config. Could you provide such info like process name to setConfi...

Re: 120 FPS in Metal Fatigue and Outlaws

So the "refresh rate" option is there just as a frame limiter? No. It is what it's supposed to be - a screen refresh rate. If you set it to 120Hz and your resolution to full HD, the final display mode will be 1920x1080@120Hz. But this doesn't necessarily mean you will get 120fps. It all d...

Re: 120 FPS in Metal Fatigue and Outlaws

"Per App" = nGlide sets a 60hz refresh rate, but doesn't limit FPS. It does limit the framerate in this mode as well, unless.. you left enabled Vsync in configurator, but forced to disable it in your graphics driver panel (frame limiter isn't enabled if nGlide can rely on Vsync). "12...

Re: Support for Game-Native Widescreeen

Most old games did not support widescreen resolutions at all, so NGlide doesn't check whether an actual widescreen resolution is set ingame and thusly cannot handle it properly. nGlide knows the source resolution and it knows if it's widescreen or not. The problem is Glide API, that never supported...
